L50 Peristaltic Pump (50mm – 2”)

The L50 Peristaltic Pump features a 50mm internal diameter hose and is supplied as standard in mild steel with a galvanised finish. It includes 2” BSPT connections in 316 stainless steel and comes fitted with a high-quality hose specified for compatibility with the pumped fluid, along with our specially formulated hose lubricant. The L50 can handle soft solids up to 40mm and hard solids up to 7.5mm. Depending on the configuration, it offers a continuous flow rate of up to 10,380 litres per hour, or 16,608 litres per hour for intermittent use.

This pump is commonly used in mining for barren solution and filtrate transfer, as well as lime neutralisation. It is also suitable for pumping liquid plaster, ceramic slip, and food products such as mashed potato, milk, cream, and ice cream.

Full configuration details are available in the Option Summary.

Peristaltic Pumps
Pump Advantages
Reduce friction and heat

Enviroflex Peristaltic Pumps employ a roller to compress the hose and not the more usual shoe. This reduces friction and heat in the hose, increasing hose life while reducing energy requirement.

Greater volume

Across the size range, most of the L series displace a greater volume of fluid per revolution than other pumps of the same hose bore size. This allows the pump to run more slowly for the same given flow, extending hose life and reducing pulsation.

Reduced spares cost

Pumped fluid is completely contained within the hose element (with no gaskets, seals, balls or rotors to wear or clog), reducing spares and cost, and typically lowering maintenance times compared to other pump technologies.
